This album was created as an ode and lullaby to my inner child as I began the journey of honoring and respecting his needs.

I have to say that working on this music was one of the most pleasurable and nourishing creative experiences I have had. Although the process was quite solitary, it was a very special time spent with my self exploring these sonic landscapes and feeling safe to roam free within them. WLAQL is an ode to all things gentle, sustainable and healthy and I made a conscious effort for my creative process to reflect this as well. Working with a constrained sound palette, respect for my own boundaries and a strong guiding principles ('don't wake the baby'), all resulted in happiness and calm.

This is music for recovery and comfort. This is music for washing up on the shore of your life and beginning the process of drying off.

Made in the mornings after breakfast between March and May, 2018.
